Fuel System Schematic
This drawing shows how to hook up the fuel lines to our system.
Doesnt matter which fitting at the rear of the base plate is used for inlet or outlet as they both join up inside the verticle fuel bracket.
Note: The reason for using a surge tank is prevent the EFI fuel pump from cavitating, the result will cause a low pressure fuel supply to the injectors and possible engine damage.
Surge tanks are mainly used when your main fuel tank has little or no baffles.
Another option is to have the surge tank mounted lower than the main fuel tank and gravity feed it instead of using a priming lift pump.
